No, you need to configure the DOS VDM for FPDOS. You want to disable EMS and XMS, and enable ~15MB of DPMI memory for the process for FOXPROX; you can allow the HMA to be used. Enable a 640K conventional memory block
For FOXPRO.EXE, enable ~15MB of EMS, and disable both XMS and DPMI memory.
In both cases, .BIN files used with LOAD and CALL are problematic, as are many .PLBs built with the LCK under NT or 2K. Do not count on being able to use FOPEN/FREAD/FWRITE to the COM ports.
