Hi Jordan,
I am using VFP version 6.00.8862.00
VFP 6 with SP4 on W2K Pro
I can confirm that it is not working as advertised in the Help File.
By default it is supposed to Append, in the test that I just ran,
open data data\inventory exclusive
append procedures from progs\test3.prg
it overwrote without using the OVERWRITE option, on the occasion that it did anything. All other cases it complained that the file had an error. All that it contained was
Function DoNothing2
return ''
Can you keep me in the replies so that I may learn how it gets fixed.
