Hi Michael,

I can't recommend working from home highly enough - It's fantastic to be able to watch your kids grow up rather than having their progress reported to you at intervals. If you can still find it, get a hold of Woody Leonhard's book The Underground Guide to Telecommuting (Addison-Wesley ISBN 0-201-48343-2). There are heaps of great tips about setting up your home as somewhere you can be productive.

All the best, and enjoy being a dad.

Cheers,

Andrew

>Thanks a lot for your supportive message. The flexibility and opportunity to work from home are probably the biggest motivating factors. I'm sure it will all work okay eventually. It's the uncertainty along the way that's really uncomfortable. However, I know that it's the best move for me to take.

As a result, 40 people were let go so far, including our CEO, two presidents, and two complete departments. However, I'm not in a position to lose my job (at the moment, at least!), because of the services I perform. However, I've had enough of the corporate world, and want to be home more.

If we were to introduce Visual FoxBase+, would we be able to work from the dotNet Prompt?
