>Dave, I would suggest you keep your VFP5 copy of the project, make a copy of your project in a new directory and recompile it in VFP 6. Your classes will work with no changes. Another thing if you want to incorporate VFP 6 features into them (_ACCESS and _ASSIGN methods, for example), then they not be backward compatible with your VFP5 version.

I planned to keep the VFP5 version around until all the kinks have been worked out of the VFP6 version.

The reason for upgrading is to make use of some of the features that were introduced in VFP6, such as _ACCESS and _ASSIGN.
