.bak is the old copy of a file you have changed. Delete at your discretion.

.fxp is the compiled version of .prg -- Deleting will force the .prg to recompile when you run it. This can be a good thing, if you still have the .prg (e.g. you made changes to a .prg and can't figure out why you don't "see" the changes when you run it), and a *bad* thing if you don't!
