Hi:

I'm a little confused over backups. If I create a maintenance plan, I can schedule complete backups and transaction log back ups, but what if I want to also schedule differential backups that occur more frequetly? I don't see how to do that in the maintenance plan. I see how to do that using New Backup, but if I set a schedule and hit OK, I can't find the schedule and it doesn't appear in the maintenance plan. What is the difference between a backup schedule and a maintenance plan that includes a backup?
