Hi charlie,

Isn't it possible to modify the SPT in such way it includes the last_name ? Are you using SQL 7 ? Then you might be able to make a view out of the SPT and use a normal P-view to include the last_name in a seperate view on top of that one.

I need to create some sort of compound index, like STR(foreign_key) + last_name so the child records will appear to be sorted by last_name and still maintain the relation.
