>>Hey, of course! It would be perfect. But, we all are used to M$FT by now, so I think there is something in the license. Given the access methodolgy WWWC uses we are only using less than 5 concurrent connections to the database .....How can I check for sure?

Or, if you have the "Westwind Status Interface" window visible in your application (that logs hits and gives access to "status" and so forth), how many are visible? Or, open the "HTML Administration Page" from your browser, click on "Manage DLL's" and a page is displayed that shows a list of current running servers. If you keep the defaults that are set up when you install WC or when you create a new WC project, then two instances of the server are loaded (usually adequate).

I'm glad you are looking into Postgres, and Interdev. BTW, your client is right: a true RDBMS is more reliable than any Isam structure (including VFP). Stonefield improves robustness -- but there is no way a well maintained, properly set up VFP database can match a well-maintained properly set up RDBMS database.
Thanks
