What are you trying to do? I'm, no expert on index structures, but I'm pretty sure there's no internal way of getting the "#XX of XXX records in this order". You could go to the top and count while recno()!=savedrecno, but this seems like a lot of work. What are you trying to accomplish? Maybe there's a alternate path.
