Try this. Drop a cdatetextboxl on a form. Run it and type in a date. Check the type of the value property. It returns a string. Now, do the same thing, but don't type in a date. Use the Quicken keys -- T for today --- then + a couple of time to advance the date. Check the value ---- it returns a date type. Tough bug to find. Say thanks Josh.
