>Can Outlook Express be programmed similarly to Outlook? All I need to do is send email from within VFP. Does Outlook Express have an object model? Are there any docs or articles on this? Alternately, I can use Outlook but I'm hoping to use Outlook Express.

OE does not have it's own automation model like Outlook; it can act as a MAPI client. You can use Nigel Coates' MAPI class from the Files section to provide MAPI control, and MAPI also will work with Outlook. OE also does not offer VBA as a method of creating things like custom forms. I'd recommend Outlook if it's viable.
