If the sales and stocks database are in the same
server that is under 1 box/server
then you can join them
eg
from sales..tablename sales, stocks..tablename stocks
where sales.key=stocks.key

sales..tablename is a shortcut for sales.dbo.tablename

If the 2 databases are not under one box
you my consider doing it
