Have you considered thin client/server technology like Citrix? Crystal Report and VFP both run quite well under Metaframe/Terminal Server and certainly reduces the installation issues. The client might also have other applications besides yours that could benefit. It's something worth looking into for anyone doing database work, because it can solve a lot of data access issues.
