IMHO programing is programing is programing
if u know how to program in one language u can easely pick up
others. if ur previous background is with C and not C++
u have an additional obstacle in the form of OO programing
but it is not that big barrier
I can't recomend on any book (I am sure other will do so )
I can only tell you that reading the manuals and trying to
write some code seem to be enough (at least this is what i've done)
