Try to configure Outlook properly:

Tools\Services... - add MS Exchange service (AFAIK you used MS Exchange server, right?)

than

Tools\Options\Mail Services
and select 'Always use this profile', select profile. So Outlook will be opened with that profile, checking EMail immediately

I'm not well-experiensed with Outlook, but I also know that you need to confogure profile if you don't use MS Exchange server. This is large rock on your road. In older version of Outlook you have to configure this in Outlook. In MS Office 2K you need to do following to Create a user profile (I took this from help):

Run Control Panel.
Double-click the Mail icon.
On the Services tab, click 'Show Profiles' (this button is not available in the same dialog box in Outlook, weird, right? ;(( ).
On the General tab, click Add, and then follow the instructions in the Inbox Setup Wizard.

Hope this helped.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
