Dear Sir/Madam,


I hv a report with some data grouping in it designed in the vfp report designer.

I wanted to generate a serial number list

like first item No. 1
second item No. 2
third item No. 3

I am able to generate the number but when I preview and then I go back to previous page it generates the number more ahead thinking that it is a new page and more items are displayed.


Pls let me know if there is a variable which can automatically generate sequential numbers.
