Well Kim, as far as the problem goes, I would next do an analysis of all the properties of the form, and the listbox: does the -form- have a private data session; have you tried 'use again' to load the listbox to an array, then closed the table; what methods are there; is the listbox using a table or an array (RowSourceType) etc.

What this means is that I haven't a clue why the listbox should be left alive when the form is killed off (though the form is killed first, then the controls), but I'd end up learning everything about the form, to see how it differs from one that works ok.
