Simple answer, is no. You can only define methods in VFP.

John -- Larry is right, but what is it you are trying to do in VFP? There may be other ways. Raised events are often used in VB for purposes that, in VFP, might be accomplished through hook-patterns. Of course, ActiveX creation requires them as well, but in VFP you can subclass controls and overwrite most of the events on the subclass level... blah blah blah. There may be another way to address your needs.
