I convert the .DBF used for reporting to an HTML document using the Fox Class DBF->HTML, view it in a Web Browser and can actually save the HTML document for everyone to view (even outside the Fox environment), which is what I pretty much want: Saving the report in a flexible format that can be easily viewed by everyone at anytime.
Problem with this .DBF->.HTML creation is the missing header, footer, master-detail data grouping, related-table information etc. that normally would appear in the the Report Preview.
Also, .SCX->.HTML creation will report the whole output (though with some distortion) but again in .TXT format without the 'jingles'...
Alternatively I thought of creating HTML code programmatically with the data in the table but again data grouping will present a problem and It is not the best of solutions. Especially since I want it to work for a variety of reports.
It is very important that I save the enironment the way it is presented in VFP Preview Window. Are you referring to the same thing or something different?
