Hello All,

There was a question raised in another thread that the entries in Top 50 (FAQ, Files, etc.) do not link to the particular entries.

For now they are not linked to the particular entries because the link in Top 50 Something will draw even more attention to those entries (as Mike Helland mentioned), making the whole "contest" (which does not really exist :) not fair as they get more exposure.
You know, that official or unofficial contests of the same sort exist everywhere, like "Top 10 best-selling cars in North America", "Top 10 movies" or "Top 100 Whatever". Of course, just the fact that those items included in Top 10... makes them even more best-selling... :) And people always want to know what's best in any category.

So, what do you think we should do on UT?

Establish the links?
Remove Top 50 completely?
Leave it as is?
