Seems to me that if you keep any transaction-dependent information for a specific stock, that information should be in a child table.

For example, it's rare that Intel stock will change from the symbol INTC. However, if I bought 10 shares at $80, then the date it was bought and the price will be, probably, unique. And when and if I sell it, that too will be at a price that is unique.
