I cobbled up a form using just what you gave me. I got an error message "cannot access the selected table'. If I moved the select-use combination to before the release, then I got the same message on the release line. When I moved the select-use bit to the destroy event of the form - no error message.
If anyone knows WHY - hey, I figure learning something everyday is my main job, though it isn't what they pay you for.
