I'm not exactly sure what the problem is. More often than not Outlook freezes. Perhaps it has to do with the nature of the attachment (SmartSuite documents).

I'll defer to Larry on this. I know nothing of automation with Notes. As he mentioned in his post to me, 5.0.2b allows the passage of the password as a parameter. He'd know much more about this than I. Still, I imagine that you could use a VBScript file to launch Notes and provide it the password.
