> Hi Paul - at work, I did not have this problem.. I move my > job to the house. I had to upgrade from windows 31 to > windows 95. There is a system policy editor (poledit.exe) Installing Windows '95 over Windows 3.1 will cause no end of grief, and you're experiencing some of it here. My most common piece of advice with Windows '95 is: Prior to installing Windows '95, remove _all_ versions of Windows that are on your hard disk. This will ensure that the install of Windows '95 is as pure as possible and that there's no chance of it using the Windows 3.11 files to create a hybrid envrironment. That being said, if you want to continue this thread, feel free to e-mail me privately at prussell@fox.nstn.ca. This forum is not really appropriate for these types of problems. /Paul
