>Everytime I launch my application I get an ERROR: Error instantiating cursor object. cannot find Q:\as_data.dbc.
>How do I delete all reference to this old database that was previously removed from the project. I have freed all the tables using the free table command; plus I have rebuilt the project and compiled the application several times from scratch, but continue to get this error message. where is this reference hidding. Any ideas? Thanks Rick

Rick,
Check the dataenvironment of the form that is being launched when you get this error. It may have an old reference to it. If that doesn't work, the form itslef may have an old record that hasn't been purged.

1. Open the form as a table (use myform.scx excl)
2. Pack
