Hi All,

I am in the process of performing a hardware upgrade by moving SQL 7 databases from Server A to Server B; at the end of the process Server B shall be renamed Server A. I'm using sp_detach/sp_attach procedure successfully with the exception of a database that holds a publication for replication. When I perform sp_detach, I receive the following error:
Server: Msg 3724, Level 16, State 1, Line 0
cannot drop database 'test1' because it is published for replication

Does anyone know of a workaround. Thanks in advance for the help.
