Hi Tamar,

Maybe, but it raised another issue you might have some ideas on.

If I manually set the device in Printers to *.PDF and then run Word, Word.ActivePrinter returns "HP LaserJet 4L on C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADOBE 4.0\PDF OUTPUT\*.PDF", which is corrent and all PrintOuts will ask for a PDF file to create. So far, so good.

However, if, in Printers, I have the device set to the default LPT1:, Word.ActivePrinter will not accept "HP LaserJet 4L on C:\PROGRAM FILES\ADOBE 4.0\PDF OUTPUT\*.PDF" as valid and keeps "HP LaserJet 4L on LPT1:" as the ActivePrinter.

Any ideas? I'm pretty sure if this can be resolved, David's problem is slam-dunked.
