Your line item cursor (or view) wil be created by taking the "main' line item table and LEFT joining it to the doomahickey table on a common key. (ALWAYS surrogate keys please!) The "Doomahickey only" fields will be .NULL. for all non-doomahickey records because they will never get created unless the doomahickey code is entered in the code field.
