John,

Yeah, but that doesn't solve your problem. Your problem was that you had another printer driver you had to use to format the data and then you wanted to pass it over to a PDF, right?

John,
That is correct. Here is my scenario:
1. I have a printer setup with a specific print driver and the properties are that it will print to a file.
2. I will be creating a document in Word.
3. I will be sending the output to the above printer using the paramaters that I listed in my previous message. I probably don't even have to set that particular property on the printer since the:
oWord.PrintOut(FileName,Range,Item,Copies,Pages,PageType,Collate,Background,PrintToFile,
OutputFileName)
will take care of it for me.
Just for some additional background:
I am sending this to a file (*.prn) in order to have Acrobat's Distiller take care of the process of creating a PDF automatically for me. I could, I guess if I wanted, take the steps necessary to print to the Adobe PDFWriter the way I had mentioned earlier, but a person I am currently working with that works for a Printer, and has used Adobe Acrobat extensively, told me it is best to let Distiller create the PDF for me.
Thanks again for your help!
Dave :-)
