Title:
Waiting around for Loosely Coupled Events
After reading Markus Egger's article in CoDe magazine on Loosely Coupled Events, I tried the examples, then threw in a twist. I waited around for 20 seconds in the subscriber's implementation of the method. I was a little suprised to see that the event class that fired off the subscriber's implementation waited for it to complete before continuing.
If the subscriber isn't called directly from the event class and it's not waiting for a return from it, why does it wait?
