Thanks *very* much for the post- apart from my trivial test already posted, this is the first actual comparison statistic I've seen here.
IMHO this is just the sort of advice we need. If it is true that running RVs across a WAN with 200 users (and whatever other circumstances) is slower than SPs, we can cast that in stone and people wanting to do something similar can be sure not to repeat the process.
Can I make sure I have it right? The app works across a WAN. >200 users.
What is the WAN speed?
Were the RVs in a dbc on a central server somewhere or did you pull them down to the local client as per articles about RVs in the wiki?
