As I keep saying, the reasons you quote may be "true" but not relevant. A Ferrari is faster than a Dodge 4X4... unless you have to drive up a rocky river bed to get home. You can't escape the circumstance.
The reason to pick RV is not for performance. It is for ease, maintenance and cross-platform availability.
As for the performance advantage of SP; in view of recent postings I'm going to review that for myself and will post any result. Hopefully that will turn a slogan along the lines of "too expensive" into an actual "price" that people can assess in their own terms.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
