Okay, Garrett, you win the prize <g>... maybe you can answer this question:

We've built an out-of-proc COM server with VFP 6 SP4. Registered it on our IIS4 server. It's instantiated and a method is invoked by some ASP code (VBScript). But when it hits the REPORT command, we barf becuase of that silly little dialog - it's puking because of the UI presentation. I agree, the EXE COM svr shouldn't have a prob with this, but for some reason it is. Huh? I'm confused. That's why I was trying to remove the UI. But since I can't, we're stumped.

Any ideas? Anyone? I tried writing to Rick about this, but so far he's not answered (perhaps he's blowing me off... and I should take the hint, eh? <g>) since this REPORT command is attempting to create a PDF file as he discusses in his article on his WW site.

>As was pointed out upthread, you can build an out-of-process server that will allow this to work.
