Hi!

I had the same problems when I worked with ActiveX objects on form. When I have 'DOEVENTS' command somewhere, I get strange behaviour, for example, first mouse click after DOEVENTS command cause nothing.

It looks like ActiveX object cause some events or broke something (I have no idea why). After the moving 'DOEVENTS' command to other events, playing with AutoYield/sys(SYS(2333) problem expired.

I don't know if the same things could appear with non-visible COM objects, but your problem looks similar...

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
