Hey all,

I have run into a strange, but I don't believe uncommon situation where I am trying to automate FTP GETs and PUTs. I am having to deal with an OS/390 implementation of FTP where the first thing the stupid mainframe does is make a call to RACF. What does this mean? It means that FTP protocol passwords and usernames are not respected and the mainframe demands a keyboard input of the username and password. Any attempt to automate seems to fail. What I really need is an FTP control that can ghost or script faux keyboard input into the FTP input to simulate typing the frigging username and password.

Any ideas?
