I am using VFP to import data from MS Access database using REMOTE VIEW. Once I query or import the data of the remote view, VFP will hang for a few second. What make it happen? Again, I have test the remote view. I found that, VFP use 26 sec to get 1,500 records out of 17,000 records totally. I tseem abit slow, why? ALso, If there are not any records mathced with the condition, VFP will use 20 secs to do it too!!!! Why?
