Darren,

I would reccomend a book from Microsoft Press called
Visual Foxpro Step By Step.

Though there are many typographical errors in the book
it will take you through an application from start to
finish giving you the basics for much of VFP's functional.

In addition, I reccomend getting Using Visual FoxPro3 by
Michael D. Antonovich QUE. This will give you the reference
to expand on what you have learned in the first book.

Optional would be Yair Allen Griver's The Visual Foxpro 3
Codebook. I would describe this book as an overstatement
of what object oriented programming should be. Make sure
you have pleanty of Maalox on hand before opening this one.
