>>I have been getting C0000005 errors when shutting down my vfp6 sp3 app from the close button. I saw the entry in our UT FAQ which seemed pertinant. However, I'm using win nt 4, not win95. I am not using a TL form. It isn't real consistent. The first time it happened I had the debugger open, checking a more mundane bug which may have been in my shutdown code. The C0000005 error happened as soon as I hit the X button, before any shutdown code was executed (and displayed).

Our NT is SP 4. I seem to have made the C0000005 error go away by fixing the more mundane bug. I didn't fix it right away because it seemed to reveal a problem with my error handler which I wanted to diagnose. But I gather that bugs related to closing forms may not get handled when they are this catastrophic. The bug had something to do with a reference to an object on a form from Formset.Show. I think that the form had been destroyed during shutdown, but the formset still existed, or something. I'll let you know if it comes back, and maybe I'll explain it better. Thank you.
