First thanks to all for your tips on how to transform data from one (dcom) object to another. I have chose the option to use ado recordsets and it seems to work fine. However I have hit on another (hard) wall.

When I try to run using dcom I keep getting the message 'Server execution failed'. This has probally something to do with the way i installed the dcom client and/or dcom server. I have followed the guidelines from MS chapter 16: Adding OLE and experimented a lot but i can not seem to get it working.

And since microsoft does not offer any help in their knowledgebase I hope someone on this forum can help me.
