>>WTLT = Way Too Long Thread
I'm trying to understand how Charlie does his SPs because it seems to differ from the (admittedly mainly Oracle) SPs I've used.
I asked about SP Vs SPT because writing code at the client to only send the fields that have changed, sounded more like building SPT at the client than using a SP.
If you know it all already, I can see you might think the thread is too long, but you can always move right along...

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us."
