Hopefully the server won't be rebooted every night. With the temp tables locally, I can always add a "del c:\temp\*.*" to each workstation's autoexec.bat and that'll take care of housekeeping.
I'm not using a view because my temp table's structure isn't the same as that of the table(s) where the actual data is stored. I need to add 2 extra fields and a view doesn't allow for that.
