Hi Andrew,

Hopefully the server won't be rebooted every night. With the temp tables locally, I can always add a "del c:\temp\*.*" to each workstation's autoexec.bat and that'll take care of housekeeping.

I'm not using a view because my temp table's structure isn't the same as that of the table(s) where the actual data is stored. I need to add 2 extra fields and a view doesn't allow for that.

Also, I prefer to have temporary tables on a special directory on the server, but with local hard drives being big anyway, it's not much of an issue anymore.
