The command for adding attachments is just:

mailitem.attachments.add("c:\dir\report.txt")

I have tried the various type values, such as "...add("c:\dir\report.txt",1)" but then no form of the attachment gets sent. Maybe I just don't know how to use the TYPE values! When the attachment is sent, it is always imbedded if it has a .txt extension and sent as an attachment otherwise.
