I have a multi-line field in a report on which I would like to reduce the leading. From searching previous thread I see the suggested work-around is to breakup the field into one field/line and manually set the leading. I would prefer to avoid this.

What I am thinking about doing is creating a custom font with really tight leading so when VFP spreads it out it will still look right. (Eg. make a 8pt font with 10pt characters.)

Does anyone know how VFP sets the leading? Does it expand the leading of the font or create its own leading based upon the font size?

Or maybe someone has a better idea.
