THANX A TON GUYS!!

i managed to figure out where i was screwing up. first i print all the stuff to the txt file and then right after a 'set print off' and 'set cons on' i tried the CopyFile(). i had to put in a 'set printer to' to get it to work! please remember to mention that if any other knucklehead asks the same question! it took me 11.5hrs to figure it out. no wonder i am starving!!
