I don't know if the latest update addresses your problem, but download the patched setup wizard from:

http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/support/bldqpage.idc?productPage=q_foxpro&productTitle=Microsoft+Visual+FoxPro

if you haven't already. If the update doesn't address it, you'll have to run a little exe or batch file or something which will close the window and open it again. I don't have the name of the windows batch programming language I'm thinking of now, but email me if the patch doesn't work and I'll get you their site.

>If I install an ordinary Fox app in my win nt 4 machine, but change the drive from the default (c: in my case) to a network drive h:, it does everything fine, except this: when it finishes, the icon for the application is not visible in the program group, which is showing on the desktop. It is actually there. I can run the program from the start bar, and if I close the group and then open it again (after looking for the thing deep in my profiles folder) it will be there. I can just imagine my users saying "Hey, where's my app?"
