Hi,

I asked this question on the 19th October, but no-one has replied. Possibly no-one else is seeing this problem.

I've got a strange problem which only appears to come up with Windows 2000.

I have an object based on a container. This object contains an oleboundcontrol and a combobox. The combobox contains a list of captions, and picking one displays the relevant picture in the oleboundcontrol. The pictures and captions are held in a table, and the combobox merely navigates through the table, refreshing the oleboundcontrol when an item is picked in the combobox.

This works fine in Windows 95, 98 and NT 4.0. However, on Windows 2000 Professional, the combobox and/or oleboundcontrol disappear from the form. Even though the combobox is not visible, the user is still able to click on the area containing the combobox and display/select from the items in the combo. The full combo isn't visible at that point, just the list of items contained in the combo.

This all seems fairly random, but it happens on every Windows 2000 PC we've tried it on [four of our PCs and one of our client's PCs].

The program was written in VFP 6.0 SP3. We have tried installing Windows 2000 SP1 onto Windows 2000, but that hasn't helped.

Has anyone seen anything like this - it looks to me like a video driver problem, but we've seen it on laptops and desktop machines with various video cards.

Best.

Matt.
