We are working with a Windows 95 Network. I have an invoicing system that is supposed to print an invoice on a networked laser and then immediately after that print a packing label on a networked dot matrix printer. I can't seem to get a handle on how to direct the print jobs to different printers. I tried the print set-up in the page set-up screen, but alone that was very inconsistent. Sometimes the invoice would go to the label printer and vice-versa. I tried supplimenting that approach with the SET PRINTER NAME command. That works in most cases, but it doesn't work if the computer using the invoicing program has the dot matrix printer connected locally. We don't want the users to have to select a printer each time an invoice is generated. Is there a simple way to force a report to print to the same printer every time?
Thanks in advance
John Dennis
