GetFile() works for already existing files, and PutFile() is very useful when you want the user to possibly furnish a non-existant name, and LocFile() will select a specific file if it's where it can be found, otherwise will let you hunt for it. ANd you can invoke the COmmon Controls SHowOpen() dialog using the Microsoft Common Controls ActiveX control
