We received a call from Allaire yesterday on this issue and the bottom line is that Cold Fusion does not work with VFP COM objects because VFP uses Variant typing (we dont have strict typing yet).

They indicated that it may change in a new version, but I dont get any warm fuzzies about that promise coming true.
