And the same applies to vacuum tubes. Transistors are much more efficient, generate less heat, have lower output impedances and don't need a matching transformer to connect it to a speaker. But most guitar players still prefer the sound over transistor amps. Same goes for hi-fi. So, lets reserve a place in history for records players, tube audio and the VFP DML. They will never be outdone!
